The Los Angeles Dodgers have been the best team in baseball since 2010.
They have won 1,270 regular season games in that span.
That is 49 wins more than the New York Yankees, who are second.
One reason they have been so successful is because they get the best out of their players.
The Dodgers took a chance on veteran outfielder Jason Heyward this offseason.
He has been nothing but exceptional for the Dodgers.
Heyward is having his best statistical season since 2015.
According to Bruce Kuntz, from last season to this year, Heyward has improved in every key stat.
He has raised his batting average, slugging percentage, and OPS by astronomical amounts.

Heyward has played a massive role for the Dodgers both on the field and in the clubhouse.
Getting the best out of their players is nothing new to the Dodgers.
They seem to fix players that most other teams do not want.
Heyward was on his way out of the league before this resurgence.
The Dodgers are full of depth, and they can throw many different lineups at their opponents.
Heyward is just one piece that can make a difference.
Most of his playing time comes against right-handed pitchers.
But they will see plenty of those in the postseason.
Heyward is saving his best ball for the end of the year.
Over the past 20 games, he is batting .400 with four home runs and 11 RBI.
The 34-year-old has proven that he still has something left to contribute to a winning team.
